Bank systems stay behind the firewall, so there are no screenshots here. In a team of three I built two systems with Java, Spring Boot and Next.js, both connected to the bank's core banking system.
Local and diaspora customers open a bank account from their phone, without visiting a branch.

One simple flow replaces a scattered process. Every card is tracked from the vendor to the customer, so teams can see card stock at every stage and every branch.

I'm a software engineer based in Harare. Most of my work involves money: banking, trading, payments and point of sale, where software has to be right before it can be fast.
I work across the whole cycle. I sit with the people who will use the system, shape the requirements, build the backend and the app, ship it, and stay with it in production. I use AI coding tools every day to move faster, and I review everything they write.
